We Believe
The Scriptures are the divinely inspired, inerrant Word of God and the sole authority for our faith, worship and conduct.
There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit
The Lord Jesus Christ, who is God incarnate, was born of the virgin Mary and died for our sins. He was buried, rose again and ascended back into Heaven. Personal acceptance of Him as Savior is the essential and only way of salvation. The Holy Spirit, co-equal with the Father and Son indwells every believer.
There is one Church, which is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers, of which Christ is the sole head.
A local church is a fellowship of Christians where God’s people may find rest, help and encouragement. It is also a lighthouse to help those who are lost find salvation in Christ.
The Lord will return for His Church, which will be caught up in the clouds to meet Him in the air, and will also return to the earth with His Church to establish His kingdom.

Our purpose at Lombard Gospel Chapel is to Glorify God through:
Exaltation
By providing a joyful yet reverent environment, which will foster worship and spiritual growth
Edification
By providing a loving and encouraging environment where Christians will be taught God's Word and will then exercise their gifts in serving one another.
Evangelization
By providing a friendly and accepting environment where people can hear the Word of God in our wervices, see the Word of God in our lives, resopond to the Word of God with personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and be trained to communicate the Word of God to theres in our community and throughout the world.
