“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
— Ephesians 6:18
Thank you LGC family for your faithful prayers!
Please let Sharon Stultz know if you have any new prayer requests for publication in the Prayer & Praise email only, at dan@stultzphoto.com by Monday at NOON.
Please pray:
For Bill Van Ryn who is recovering from a small stroke accompanied by some confusion and memory loss. Pray as doctors monitor him on an ongoing basis.
For Randy and Bari Behnken as Randy isolates for a few weeks in a hospital after his stem cell transplant. Pray that he remains free from infection as his bone marrow and white blood cells rebuild.
For these high school and college graduates as they celebrate and make plans for the future:
High School grads: Addie Bylsma, Madi Hamilton, Lydia Issa and Ito Van Ryn.
College grads: Abi Daghfal, Ben Barry, Joline Eskander and Andrew Issa.
The Frasers:
Thank you for praying for the Gathering of Nations outreach and our time recording in New Mexico and Arizona. The Lord blessed it. Eleven of us came together to shine the light there including Cherokee, Choctaw, Navajo, Apache and Lugana brethren and the rest of us from the Sycamore tribe (as we white folks have been affectionately referred to). It was truly an intertribal team! The fellowship was sweet, and it was a joy to serve our Lord together.
We are aware of four people who responded to the
gospel. Their names are Jewell, Santiago, Juan and Aiden. Please
pray as they begin their walk with the Lord.
One woman approached the table seeking resources for her son’s addiction. Deborah
was able to give her the resources we had . . . stories of hope . . . and point
her to Jesus. Please pray for this lady and her son Aaron.
Pray that the many gospel resources for Native people which were distributed,
will make hearts ready for the Lord.
The Storyteller and Why Jesus? recordings went very well. In Phoenix as
well as on the Salt River and Isleta reservations, we recorded wonderful
stories and testimonies of God’s mercy and grace. We are looking forward
to making them available to introduce Native people to Jesus.
After our time in Phoenix we drove to the San Carlos Apache reservation. Kim
and Deborah acquainted the women at a Bible study with The
Storyteller. Perhaps one or more of our Apache sisters there may one day
share what the Lord has done for them.
We received a text last night from a young-in-the-faith friend who is in jail
for a probation violation. It has been a good thing; it seems as if the Lord
has his attention. Brian is not a shy guy. He said he introduced
another inmate to The Storyteller last night and led him to the Lord. God
knows, but it sure made us smile. We have a brother in the Lord who is
blooming where he is planted.
May we all be so bold, no matter where we are. Thanks for standing with
us. His work is not finished. 2 Peter 3:9.
