“And pray in
the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for
all the Lord’s people.”
— Ephesians
6:18
Thank you LGC
family for your faithful prayers!
Please let Sharon Stultz know
if you have any new prayer requests for publication in the Prayer &
Praise email only, at dan@stultzphoto.com by Monday at NOON.
Pray for all
of our college students as they prepare to return to their
campuses. Pray that they begin the semester in good health, refreshed and
strengthened in their faith.
The Schreibers:
PRAISE:
1. For the
therapist who has solved the problem that Mary was having with vertigo.
At least for now Mary is not having any dizziness.
2. That the Bible college and seminary in
Myanmar where Dale has been teaching (in the past in person and now by
video recording) is doing well after the sudden death of its Founder and
Director Kap Thang.
PRAY:
1. For the burden the Lord has given us for
the people of Eritrea. Ask God to give us creative ways to penetrate this
people group with the gospel.
2. That we will be able to start a Bible
study with some Eritreans in and around Wheaton.
3. For Dale and
Emmanuel Kwizera as they prepare for a church leaders’ conference in
October. The teaching will be done in French via video recording and Zoom. The conference will be held in Burkina Faso to
encourage Church leaders working with resistant people groups in dangerous
areas.
4. That doctors can
determine the cause of Dale’s lack of balance and be able to correct it.
5. For Dale as he records teaching sessions
on the Great Commission for a seminary in Myanmar.
6. For Mary and her contact with a young
Eritrean mother of two. S. is a convert from Islam. Pray for Dale as he
is reaching out in friendship evangelism with her husband Sh.
7. For Dale’s preaching ministry at Woodside
Bible Chapel. He preached last Sunday (August 3) and will preach again during
the next two Sundays (August 10 and 17).
8. For Dale as he is in discussion with
Bible schools as to how he can help them in their teaching program for the
coming school year.
9. For one of our spiritual sons who is director
of a Bible school in Ivory Coast. Pray Dale will be able to quickly record his
French lessons to share with him.
THANK YOU, chapel Family,
for your spiritual and material support.
The Luibrands:
We are joining the Montana assemblies' Bible camp
this week as counselors/campers. We would appreciate prayer for stamina and
wisdom with the kids we serve and safety in travel (4 hours each way).
We are all pretty tired
from a very full schedule during the last six weeks, but
know that God will make this a good time for us too. Pray for his sustaining
grace and a good last few days before we return to Turkey.
