“And pray in
the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for
all the Lord’s people.”
— Ephesians
6:18
Thank you LGC
family for your faithful prayers!
Please let Sharon Stultz know
if you have any new prayer requests for publication in the Prayer &
Praise email only, at dan@stultzphoto.com by Monday at NOON.
Pray for healing for Lorraine Kirkland who
is in the hospital after falling and breaking her leg. Pray for the Lord’s
guidance as she makes a decision regarding a location
for her rehab.
Pray for Gabe Van Ryn who recently returned
to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for his fourth year of ministry to
students.
Gabe is with Campus Outreach, which focuses
on evangelism and discipleship in order to reach
students at smaller colleges and universities with the gospel. The mission: “to
glorify God by building disciple-makers on campuses who will be sent all over
the world to live and preach Christ crucified.”
To encourage Gabe, you can email him at gabe.vanryn@campusoutreach.org
or call him at 630-487-7294 or write to his personal address at 36 Heritage

The Frasers:
Thank you for praying for us and
the work. We desire to be faithful and fruitful for
the Lord.
I recently spent time with our dear brother Julius
who is truly a different man, maturing in his faith, zealous to share what the
Lord has done for him. Others we spent time with during the last month or
so are young in the Lord but endeavoring to go on with him despite real
challenges. It is clear that they aren't who they
used to be. This is what our Father does.
Please continue to pray for Adnon (from
Jordan) and Maliha (Afghanistan) who we met near our booth at the county
fair. Pray that they would pursue truth and put their
trust in the Lord.
Please keep praying for Austin who is a Native
gang member from Minneapolis who is in jail. Pray that
God will use “The Storyteller” testimonies to change his life, and that I will
have an opportunity to meet with him again.
Yesterday, Kim and I met with the program
director and administrator of another county jail to see if we can hold regular
Bible studies there. Please pray for open doors according to the Lord’s
will.
We continue to work toward placing “The Storyteller” and Native-focused course
content on prison inmate tablets. Please pray for favor with the service provider; that our content will be accepted by them. We
value your prayers for God’s help to do this well.
In October, we will travel to the Flathead reservation in western Montana for a
teaching opportunity. We also hope to connect with Native believers in
Montana and states further west. So often, the Lord uses other believers to
help point the way for us. A Native brother who
used to minister on the Crow reservation has given us some leads in
Montana. We have few contacts outside of Montana. Would you pray with us
for this trip, that the Lord would go before us?
We’ve enjoyed having Abigail home for a bit before she returns to Alaska
in September where she will serve as women’s mentor for a discipleship center
that focuses on Native Alaskans. This is spiritually challenging work in a
remote setting. For those of you who have a prayer list with extra room,
we’d be grateful if you would add Abigail to it.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you
may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13, NJKV). Thanks
for standing with us!
The Luibrands:
We are thankful to be back home in Istanbul, and
very thankful for God’s protection and mercies during the last eight weeks. We
had two international and three domestic flights, drove almost 6,000 miles
through 15 states and D.C. while staying in 14 different places.
We are a bit tired from all the travel and
activity, but it was good to see so many of you during this time and meet some
for the very first time. Thank you for your hospitality and for helping such a
long trip go smoothly for us.
Please pray for Tim as he preaches here;
that God would give strength and the Spirit’s filling. Also
pray for us to get through jet lag quickly and be able to catch up with
many people who have been awaiting our return. We ask for God’s grace and
guidance in our conversation and interaction, that we will edify believers and
be good witnesses to those who don’t follow Christ.
Please pray for the children at the camp we served
at in Montana who heard the gospel for the first time. Other campers were
challenged to renew their commitment to Jesus. Thanks for praying for
us!
The Schreibers:
We praise the Lord for the strength and the “get
up and go” that the Lord gives us for life and ministry. Thank you for your
prayers.
We praise the Lord for his blessing on Dale’s
ministry at Woodside Bible Chapel during the last three Sundays. Thank
you for your prayers.
We praise the Lord that Mary is doing much
better and seems to be free from the vertigo she has experienced
over the last few weeks. Thank you for your prayers.
Pray for us as we are reaching out to the Eritrean
community in and around Wheaton. Ask the Lord to show us felt needs in
the Eritrean community and how to move from felt needs to real
spiritual needs. Pray that they will see how God, through the message of
the gospel, can meet their need for Christ as Savior.
Karissa,
our “adopted granddaughter,” will be flying in from Japan to attend
Wheaton College for her second year. Karissa's parents are missionaries in
Japan with our Mission (WEC International). Pray
we can help and encourage Karissa.
Pray for Dale as he plans and records teaching
material for the Christian workers’ conference that he will lead in Burkina
Faso at the end of October. Dale will teach approximately 130 attendees via his
prerecorded videos. We pray this conference will encourage these Christian
workers, especially those ministering in extremely dangerous situations,
including areas under the control of militant Muslims.
Thank you, LGC family, for standing with us as
together we go to war (spiritual war) for Christ and his kingdom.
Other requests
Please pray:
That God would be glorified as he continues to
work in the lives of the children who attended Sports Camp a few weeks
ago.
For Wilson Daghfal who is the new director
of youth ministries.
For those seeking employment.
For Tom Hephner as he performs the duties
of the director of activities; for the elders as they perform the

peace in the Middle East, Ukraine and elsewhere and for unrest in our nation.
For those at LGC who have unspoken needs.
For our educators who attend LGC. For our
college students and Pre-K – 12 students to know Christ and honor
him in all areas of their lives as they return to school.
For officials in our government on the
local, state and national levels – that God would protect their lives and help
them to serve with humility and wisdom. Pray they would honor biblical

find ways to reach out and encourage others.
Continue to
pray for these areas of need and for people with ongoing health issues:
Pray for our nation, our troops, many suffering
